Fun in the sun
I can't believe tomorrow will be August. This summer has flown by. I haven't gone to the pool as much as i would like this summer and totally regret it because not only do I love getting some sun but madden LOVES playing in the water. So we decided to go to the water park today and have a little pool time. Madden had a blast of course. Hopefully we can make it to the pool more this month since summer is coming to an end!

Madden update
So little man is a little over 14 months now and has been a busy boy learning all sorts of new thing lately. He has been pulling himself up on everything and opening drawers , cupboards , you name it and its done. He gets into everything. He loves walking while holding someone's hands or his walker and loves to walk around furniture. He recently learned how to crawl up the stairs this weekend. Time for baby gate. He has been obsessed with going up them and that's all he wants to do and mommy sure gets tired of playing that game all day. He's so close to walking and I can't wait. I know everyone days you'll wish he didn't walk but I know I won't regret it one bit. Especially since he scoots in his butt and has been putting holes in his bottoms. He has been so much fun and the older he gets the better it is. We love you infinity baby boy!

Garlic grilled cheese & chocolate crinkle cookies
So today for our dinner I decided to try something new and instead of regular Grilled cheese which we love , I ventured out. We got this yummy garlic butter from Costco and its the best. You can use it for garlic bread, pasta and so much more . I used wheat Bread and Instead I cheddar cheese I paired the garlic butter with mozerallea cheese. It was so delicious. I think I favored this more than the regular grilled cheese. I decided for the side dishes to stay simple since its a pretty simple meal but so good so I paired it with grapes and some Cheerios for madden too (don't mind the purple plate.. Lol). If you don't have garlic butter you can always mix up your own with butter, minced garlic and some herbs. And for dessert, I made these chocolate crinkle cookies. So yummy!!!!

Maddens 1st dentist
So madden had his first dentist appointment the other day and he did way better than I expected. In fact, he LOVED it. He had so much fun playing with all the little gadgets and he even let them clean his teeth. For a 1 yr old that's pretty unusual. He had so much fun and even though he has only 4 teeth I still wanted to get an early start in it to get him use to going. Hope everyone's having a good week.

Busy, busy, busy!!!
My goodness its been a bit since I've posted. Things have been a little busy around here. One of my sisters had her first baby girl and she is so adorable. I got to be there for the birth and it was absolutely amazing. Makes me so excited to have another one in the future.
We also took a trip down to mesquit in our second get away home and man was it hot down there. A whopping 117 degrees. But we had a lot of fun spending the holiday together as a family.
Also mr, madden had been learning a lot of new things this past week. He starting pulling himself up now, sits up from his belly and back, started walking around furniture and has also started walking around whole holding our hands and on a walker and man does he love walking. I think its only a matter of time before he starts cruising around. Its pretty amazing how fast this little ones learn new things. Anyways , I hope everyone had a great holiday and here's some pics of the little man and my new beautiful niece blaykli.
